‘Nobody’s tweet can’t weaken our democracy’: RJD’s Manoj Jha in Rajya Sabha
Published on Feb 04, 2021 11:56 am IST
- RJD MP Manoj Jha spoke during the motion of thanks to the President’s address in Rajya Sabha and lashed out at the Modi government over the farmers’ protest. Jha said that the government of the day only believes in lecturing people and not listening to them. The RJD MP said that the script of the President’s address is prepared by the government and was far away from the facts on the ground. He said that the agitations in Singhu, Ghazipur and Tikri border are not exceptions and claimed there is a churning underway in many parts of the country. Jha further added that agitations are now seen in a different light by the government of the day and added that even those countries that have infiltrated into India’s territory are not treated the way the farmers are. He also said that India’s democracy is not so fragile that a tweet by someone would weaken it. Watch the full video for all the details.
