- A Pakistani drone, carrying seven magnetic bombs and as many Under Barrel Grenade Launchers (UBGL) grenades has been shot down by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district. The incident occurred ahead of the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas for which security has been tightened across the valley. The Union Home Ministry has decided to deploy a total of 400 companies of the central armed police forces for the pilgrimage beginning June 30. This pilgrimage assumes major significance because it is going to be the first after Article 370 was abrogated in 2019. Watch this report to know more
