Parliament: Debate on farmers disrupted; Opposition raises slogans, govt slams

Even though the opposition has been demanding a debate on farm laws, massive ruckus erupted in Rajya Sabha during a discussion on farmers and their issues across the country.The opposition members demanded that the discussion should be held only on farm laws and created massive uproar in the House. The opposition members refused to be part of the discussion and instead resorted to sloganeering and hooting in Rajya Sabha. Due to heavy uproar, the House was adjourned multiple times by the Chair.
