PM Modi Birthday:Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal extend wishes; Vaccination drive planned

• September 17 marks the 71st birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. From President to union ministers and other leaders - all took to Twitter to wish PM Modi on his birthday. BJP workers cut a vaccine-syringe-shaped cake on the eve of PM’s birthday. On the occasion, BJP aims to create a record of maximum inoculations against Covid-19. The record vaccination is targetted through a mega 20-day public outreach programme. The programme has been extended to a 20-day celebration in view of the PM's 20 years in public life. The outreach programme will begin from Friday and will continue till October 7. Born in 1950, PM Modi is the first chief minister to be born after independence. He has also been the longest-serving CM of Gujarat from October 2001 to May 2014. Known for being the most tech-savvy leader, the PM is very active on social media platforms.
