Rahul Gandhi snubs but Priyanka meets Navjot Sidhu: The Punjab Congress tussle

• A day after Indian National Congress party leader Rahul Gandhi denied plans of meeting Punjab politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, the latter met Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Delhi on June 30. Tweeting a photograph of the interaction, Sidhu claimed he had a 'long meeting' with Priyanka. The cricketer-turned-politician has been embroiled in a turf war with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh ahead of Assembly elections early next year. Earlier, a panel of Congress leaders had submitted a report to the high command to end the infighting.
