Stunning Aurora-draped Indian Ocean captured by Astronauts; Netizens ‘amazed’

  • International Space Station (ISS) has captured incredible spectacle of Aurora. The time-lapse video displays an amazing view from the space station as it travelled above the Indian Ocean towards Australia. The clip shows an orbital pass above an Aurora-draped Indian Ocean all the way to a moonlit coral sea in the east of Australia. Auroras are also known as the Northern or Southern Lights. They are vibrant displays of light caused when gaseous particles in the Earth's atmosphere and charged particles from the Sun collide.
