'Taliban can't afford India enmity': Engagement in Delhi's interest

As the civil war situation in Afghanistan deteriorates, India is faced with a quandary. With Taliban rapidly advancing, and serious questions being raised about the Afghan government's ability to hold them back, should Delhi engage with the militants? Former foreign secretary and ex-Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Vivek Katju argues in favour of having formal ties with the Taliban.
