Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief said that his group is 'still open' to a ceasefire agreement with Pakistan government. The statement came after the dreaded group has launched a series of attacks on Pak forces in recent weeks. In November last year, the TTP called off an indefinite ceasefire and ordered its men to carry out attacks on Pak's security forces. The TTP, which is believed to have close links to al-Qaeda, has also threatened to target top leaders of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s party.
