Trains blocked, farmers occupy rail tracks to seek Minister's ouster | Lakhimpur

Samyukta Kisan Morcha called for a nationwide peaceful 'Rail roko' protest on Monday. The six-hour agitation comes as farmers demand removal of Union Minister Ajay Mishra whose son is the main accused in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case. The farmers' body said that as long as the minister is in the government, justice cannot be secured. Protesting farmers were seen blocking railway tracks in parts of Punjab and Haryana.
