'Violated basic etiquette': India tears into China over its envoy's remarks

- India has lashed out at Beijing over the Chinese ambassador to Sri Lanka Qi Zhenhong’s remarks. India’s strong response came after the Chinese envoy to Sri Lanka claimed that the island nation is facing aggression from the ‘northern neighbour’. Chinese envoy, without naming India, accused New Delhi of ‘interfering’ in Sri Lanka.
