Indian grandmaster Vishwanathan Anand knocked out the world number one, Magnus Carlsen in the fifth round of the classical section in the Norway Chess tournament. He claimed victory in a thrilling armageddon (sudden death game), ended in a 40-move draw. The Madras Tiger has now climbed to the top spot in the standings after defeating the Norwegian superstar.
