Watch: ATM withdrawal charges hiked if you exceed free quota. RBI move explained

- Bank customers are set to pay more for ATM transactions if they exhaust free quota. New rules to come into effect from January 1, 2022 after RBI hiked ATM charges. Customers will have to pay ₹21, up from ₹20, if they exceed monthly free ATM transactions. Customers will still have 5 free transactions every month in their own bank's ATM, while 3 free transactions from other bank ATMs in metros and 5 in non-metros are allowed.
