Watch: Bangladesh’s tri-service contingent take part in India’s R-Day parade

The marching contingent & band of Bangladesh Army participated in India’s Republic Day parade as both countries celebrated 50 years of the establishment of their diplomatic ties. The marching contingent was led by Lt Col Abu Mohammed Shahnoor Shawan. The 122-member strong contingent participated in the parade for the first time. The contingent comprised of soldiers of the Bangladesh Army, sailors of the Bangladesh Navy and air warriors of the Bangladesh Air Force. The contingent carried the legacy of legendary Muktijoddhas of Bangladesh. Muktijoddhas fought against oppression and liberated Bangladesh in 1971. Watch the full video for more.
