On Cam: Putin’s Iskander Missile Strikes Ukrainian Airbase; Su-27 Jet & S-300 System Hit | Watch

On June 12, Russia claimed to have targeted the Ukrainian military airbase in Mirgorod. Reportedly, they deployed the nuclear-capable Iskander-M missile system to destroy the 9th Ukrainian S-300 system. The Russian Defense Ministry released video footage purportedly showing the strike, which was also shared by Russian war correspondent Andrey Rudenko on Telegram. Rudenko's clip allegedly depicts a SU-27 jet being destroyed by an Iskander missile. He claimed that the area in the footage was the Mirgorod Airfield in Ukraine. These strikes come as Kyiv prepares for the long-expected delivery of U.S.-designed F-16 jets.
