'Promote consumption of Lassi & Sattu' - Pak educational body's 'solution' for reducing tea imports. Amid spiralling import bills, a minister recently urged Pakistanis to cut down on tea consumption. Pak consumed tea worth $400MN in FY2021-22 & the minister said the nation is borrowing cash to foot the expenses. The federal budget document showed Pakistan imported $60MN worth of more tea than the last fiscal.
