- In a tit-for-tat move against the West's sanctions on Russia, Moscow has kicked out diplomats from France, Italy and Spain. This comes in retaliation for the expulsion of Russian diplomats from European countries. The Russian Foreign Ministry announced the dismissal of 24 Italian diplomats, 34 French diplomats and 27 Spanish diplomats. In statements posted on its website, Russia gave the Spanish officials one week to leave the country, while the French diplomats will have two weeks. Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi reacted to the development calling it a hostile act by Russia while France condemned Russia's action as unjustified retaliation. Watch this video for more details.
