Putin laughs at sanctions over Ukraine war; 'You've failed, we are not down'

Russian President Vladimir Putin has hit out at the West for its 'economic aggression'. Mocking the sanctions regime, Putin said that the west had failed to crush the Russian economy. During a televised address on Thursday, he announced that Moscow would expand trade cooperation with new partners to thwart western efforts to isolate it economically.
