Cricket Australia did what the world demanded: Ricky Ponting

Former Australia captain, Ricky Ponting came out hard at all the recently banned Australian players by Cricket Australia. Addressing a press conference as the coach of Delhi Daredevils for the upcoming Indian Premiere League (IPL), the Aussie legend opened up about the sandpaper gate. “We as Australians like to play the game hard and fair and Cricket Australia just did what the world demanded them to do”. All the three recently banned players have already told the media that they won't be contesting the ban and are ready to accept their punishment. But there has been a lot of chatter in the International cricket circle terming the ban on all three to be extremely harsh. While on the other hand there are voices that have expressed their concerns on the kind of cultural problems running in the Australian cricket setup. Ponting even pointed out that a few months back no one had a problem when the Australians won the Ashes but all of a sudden this incident has brought out voices questioning that too.
