A school boy in Mumbai was being hailed as the next Sachin Tendulkar after he scored a record 546, while batting in a domestic competition. Prithvi Shaw, who is also the captain of the Under-16 Mumbai team, surpassed the record of Dadabhoy Havewalla, who scored 515 in 1933-34, which was the previous highest by an Indian in any form of registered competitive cricket. Shaw who idolizes Tendulkar said that although he does not believe in copying the batting style of the 'little master', he does admire his honesty. Shaw's current coach, Rajeev Pathak said that people in cricketing circles have already started to take notice of this young boy, while praising his student for showing tremendous patience and skill.
