After being sacked by the Sports Authority of India in the wake of a doping scandal, former coach of National Athletics Squad, Yuri Ogorodnik on Friday said that he did not encourage any athlete to take banned substances. He said he only advised them to take good food to boost them up. He even blamed the Sports Authority of India (SAI) for not providing good food supplements to the athletes. Yuri was terminated from his post after eight athletes training under him tested positive for taking banned anabolic steroids within the space of a week.
