The New York Times says the U.S. used its new Precision Strike Missile, or PrSM, in the February 28 attack on Lamerd, with its visual analysis and munitions experts linking the strike to damage at a sports hall, an elementary school, and nearby residential areas beside an IRGC compound. The report says videos, missile shape, airburst behavior, and pellet-like fragmentation patterns matched the PrSM, and a U.S. official also confirmed to the paper that the missile used there was the system.
