Turkish Prez Erdogan warns Greece of ‘heavy price’ over airspace violations

- Tensions arose in the east Mediterranean sea after Turkey challenged old rival Greece over alleged Aegean airspace violation. Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Greece of 'heavy price' if it harasses Turkish fighter jets over islands in the Aegean sea. Even though both countries are members of the NATO alliance, disputes over maritime borders have remained a point of conflict between the two countries.
