Trump fires election security official who contradicted him on voting fraud

US President Donald Trump has fired the director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Christopher Krebs. This comes after Krebs had earlier vouched for the integrity of the recent polls and rejected voter fraud allegations. 'The recent statement by Chris Krebs on the security of the 2020 Election was highly inaccurate, in that there were massive improprieties and fraud - including dead people voting, Poll Watchers not allowed into polling locations, “glitches” in the voting machines which changed votes from Trump to Biden, late voting, and many more. Therefore, effective immediately, Chris Krebs has been terminated as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency,' Trump tweeted. 'Honored to serve. We did it right. Defend Today, Secure Tomorrow,' Krebs tweeted after his sacking. The sacking of the top US electoral security officer comes a week after Defence Secretary Mark Esper had been sacked by Trump. The US President has so far refused to concede defeat to Joe Biden and has also filed a slew of lawsuits in several states. Watch the full video for all the details.
