Watch out U.S. enemies! Cutting-edge amphibious warship enters service

The United States recently commissioned its latest amphibious warship in Florida. The nearly 25,000-ton USS Fort Lauderdale is 684-feet-long and 105-feet- wide. Four diesel engines will power the new warship to speeds in excess of 22 knots. The San Antonio-class warship is capable of carrying 350 sailors, 650 marines. The new warship boasts of an intimidating collection of military attack vehicles.
