Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the double explosion in Lviv as a “cynical and brutal terrorist act,” accusing Russia of planning the attack and recruiting saboteurs via Telegram to strike deep inside western Ukraine. Two late‑night blasts hit the historic city, with the second bomb detonating after police arrived, killing a 23‑year‑old officer and injuring dozens more. A 33‑year‑old Ukrainian woman was later arrested near the Polish border, accused of planting and remotely detonating the devices.
