French President Emmanuel Macron has proposed the expansion of the global anti-ISIS coalition in order to defeat Palestinian militant group Hamas which killed over 1400 Israelis during its devastating October 7 assault. The anti-ISIS coalition was formed in 2014 to eradicate ISIS and its ideology anywhere in the world. However, while ISIS is widely condemned by Muslims around the world, Hamas is seen as an armed resistance group.
