'Won't take revenge': Pak PM pick Shehbaz Sharif's speech after Imran's ouster

  • Pakistan's Leader of the Opposition, Mian Shehbaz Sharif, who is set to be the new prime minister of Pakistan after Imran Khan's ouster as PM has assured that the new dispensation will not indulge in revenge and would follow the Constitution and law of the land. Sharif, in his address to the National Assembly, thanked all opposition leaders for their support in ousting Imran Khan and praised the people of Pakistan for their 'sacrifices' during anti-Imran campaign. Shehbaz Sharif, who is the younger brother of ex-PM Nawaz Sharif, is scheduled to be elected as the Leader of the House on April 11 and his name has already been endorsed by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
