Artist’s work spirals into viral status

A U.S.-based Cambodian artist has seen his work go viral after creating spiral shaped artworks with different materials and surfaces. Now living in Maine's town of Scarborough, Visoth Kakvei likes working his magic on anything white, which he describes as his canvas. In his videos, Kakvei places coins onto table in spiral shapes. The coins themselves collected by his little brother. Kakvei can be seen making the most of Maine's cold snap, by creating the spiral pattern on snow-covered logs. He told Reuters that he hopes his work, which turns trivial things into works of art, will inspire people.
