At the UN General Assembly, the UAE has urged nations to “build rather than destroy”, calling for de-escalation, diplomacy and dialogue amid mounting regional tensions. UAE Minister of State Khalifa Al Marar also addressed Gaza, Iran, Sudan and freedom of navigation, while backing a political path towards a two-state solution.
