China cornered: US bans goods, EU puts trade deal on line over Xinjiang

In a draft report, European Parliament has underlined conditions to be met before it signs a trade agreement with China. The conditions include concrete steps to improve conditions of Uyghurs & other Muslims in China. Meanwhile, the U.S. has passed a law to ban all goods made in Xinjiang, where most of China’s Muslim minorities reside. The EU has also called for support from other countries including India to curb China’s increasing influence. Watch the full video for more details.
