- China has once again accused United States of sending 'very wrong, dangerous signals' after U.S secretary of state Antony Blinken met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi and urged for calm over Taiwan. China’s foreign ministry, in a statement slammed U.S and said that the more rampant Taiwan’s independence activity becomes, the less likely there would be a peaceful settlement. Taiwan was the focus of the 'direct & honest' talks that took place between the two diplomats on the margins of the UN general assembly.
