The Israeli Prime Minister has apologised for his controversial tweet a day after posting it. Benjamin Netanyahu blamed Israel's security officers for the Hamas' rampage on October 7 while defending himself. The tweet caused an uproar, with Israeli war cabinet member, social justice minister and former PM Yair Lapid slamming Netanyahu for 'crossing a red line' and demanding his apology.
