Hundreds of people gathered together dressed as Charlie Chaplin's “The Tramp” character in Switzerland on Sunday (April 16), for a world record attempt for the largest gathering of Chaplin Tramps. Six hundred and sixty two people donned moustaches, hats, and grabbed sticks to help embody the character, following an Easter egg hunt. The event was organised by and at the world's only museum dedicated to the famous director, Chaplin's World. It coincided with Chaplin's 128th birthday and the museum's first anniversary since opening. Almost 300,000 visitors have visited the museum since it opened.
