Fans of the Ecuador football team chanted "we want beer" during their nation's opening match with host nation Qatar on Sunday at Al Bayt Stadium. The chants were in response to Qatar's decision to ban alcohol at all of its eight stadiums during the FIFA tournament. However, alcohol is allowed in the fan zones and hospitality boxes at the stadium.
