French diplomat meets top Iranian official to salvage nuclear deal

Top advisor to French President Emmanuel Macron met head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council. Emmanuel Bonne held talks with Ali Shamkhani to salvage the unraveling nuclear deal. It is Bonne's second trip to Tehran following Iran's increase in uranium enrichment activities. France, Britain and Germany remain part of the 2015 nuclear accord. Europe is under pressure from the US to abandon the accord entirely. Macron spoke about the issue with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani & President Donald Trump.
