Germany's 'Serial Killer' IRIS-T air defence system for Ukraine to stop Russia

• Germany joins the U.S in supplying advanced weapons to ravaged Ukraine. First, the United States pledged to send advanced rocket systems and now the German Chancellor has confirmed supplying IRIS-T air defence system to Ukraine. The IRIS-T system – the most modern defence system that Germany currently possesses. Chancellor Olaf Scholz further added said that Germany will also supply radar systems to Ukraine in order to help them locate enemy artillery. Under heavy pressure over the last weeks, Scholz’s government has agreed to send heavy weapons as Russia continues to advance deep into Donbas.
