‘If Afghan soil isn’t used by terror groups…’: India on Taliban at UNSC meet

- India said Afghanistan’s neighbors would feel safer if Afghan soil is not used by terror groups. The United Nations Security Council held a meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in Afghanistan. This was the second meeting by the UNSC held under India’s presidency to discuss Afghanistan situation. India’s Permanent Representative to UN TS Tirumurti said Afghanistan’s situation has changed dramatically over the last 10 days. The UNSC meeting was called a day after the Taliban took over Kabul and removed the Afghanistan government. United Nations chief Antonio Guterres called on the world to work together to suppress the global terrorist threat in Afghanistan. India has called on the world to immediately act to address the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan. Watch the full video for more details.
