'India stands by you': PM Modi offers help to Afghanistan as quake toll rises

The death toll in deadly Afghanistan earthquake has risen to 1000 and is expected to rise as hundreds are injured, Afghan officials said. Taliban have appealed to world community to help the victims of earthquake as Afghanistan reels under economic crisis due to sanctions. Expressing anguish at the loss of lives and devastation caused by an earthquake in Afghanistan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said India is ready to provide all possible disaster relief material at the earliest.
