Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that its intelligence arm allegedly foiled a major espionage and terror plot coordinated by ten foreign spy agencies. According to Iranian state media reports, the purported network was intended to incite unrest and fuel internal instability following the “12‑day war” of June 2025. The IRGC claimed to have arrested hundreds of individuals, confiscated weapons, and exposed links between activist groups and foreign intelligence services. Officials described the operation as part of a broader campaign to disrupt what they call a U.S.‑Israeli‑led effort to destabilize the Islamic Republic.
