Iran reportedly sought permission of Sudanese authorities to use their coast in the Red Sea to set up a Naval base. The Wall Street Journal reported that Iran offered advanced weaponry, including a warship, to Sudan in exchange for their nod allowing Iran to set up a base. However, Sudan rejected the offer fearing it would upset the U.S. and Israel. Sudan's foreign minister has now dubbed the WSJ report as 'false and fabricated.' Watch for more details.
