Kangaroo ‘invades’ football match in Australia, delays game for 32 minutes

Getting inspired by the FIFA World Cup, a kangaroo hopped onto a football field, during a club match in Canberra, Australia. The male eastern gray kangaroo delayed play for 32 minutes, indifferent to the efforts to remove him from the field. Players and officials tried to drive the unexpected invader away by kicking balls at him with little impact. A coach in a pickup truck eventually chased it away from the stadium through a break in the fence into a car park from where it disappeared, apparently injured by its experience.
