Mullah Baradar reads from script to reject reports of rift with Haqqanis

As the mystery behind Taliban political chief and deputy PM deepens, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has now emerged in a TV interview to reject the reports of rift within the Islamist group. Baradar was seen on state-owned television of Afghanistan where he reads from a script to deny the reports of infighting and his injury by rival Haqqanis. Baradar said he was in Kandahar and claimed that the Taliban leaders are not fighting for any post in the government. Watch this report for more.
