The first to respond from the NATO camp was UK PM Keir Starmer. He reacted after Putin issued a warning about the potential for direct conflict. Putin expressed anger over the West's reported decision to allow Ukraine to use Western weapons for long-range strikes deep in Russian territory. In response to months of demands from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Western nations have lifted restrictions on the use of long-range missiles, as per a report in The Guardian.
