Niger's Junta issued a 48 hour-ultimatum to the French Ambassador to leave the country. A letter was issued by the Nigerien Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the issue. The letter accused Ambassador Sylvain Itted of ignoring invitation for a meeting. The letter also said the actions of the French Government are contrary to Niger's interests. Paris quickly dismissed the ultimatum issued by the Niger Junta, saying that it does not recognise the military ruler's authority. Watch the video for more.
