As India gets sets to observe the 25th year anniversary of the Kargil war, India has made giant strides in its defence capabilities to ensure that its adversaries cannot attempt another similar provocation. The key takeaway from the Kargil war was that the Indian Army should always be vigilant to threats from the Pakistan Army as well as the Chinese Army, as was demonstrated by the PLA, under directions from President Xi Jinping, during the May 2020 transgressions in East Ladakh. What steps have been taken to ensure India’s adversaries do not attempt another similar transgression? Watch this episode of Point Blank with Executive Editor Shishir Gupta for all the details.
