'Panipat Operational Unit': Taliban's new military battalion angers Indians

Taliban defence ministry has raised a new military battalion and named it 'Panipat Operational Unit' in an apparent bid to spite India. The naming of the Taliban military unit is seen as an attempt by the Islamist rulers of Afghanistan to resurrect the legacy of Ahmad Shah Abdali, an Afghan ruler, who had defeated Marathas in the battle of Panipat in 1761. The move however has a drawn angry reactions from Indian on Twitter who see this as an attempt to mock India at a time when Indian govt is helping Afghanistan with medical and other humanitarian aid to overcome the economic crisis.
