Russia has received more than 350 Iranian-made Fath-360 short-range ballistic missiles since the Ukraine war began but has not launched a single one against Ukraine so far, according to Ukrainian military intelligence. The tactical missiles, capable of carrying a 150-kg warhead and striking targets up to 120 km away, could be used to hit Ukrainian positions near the front lines and save Russia’s more expensive long-range weapons for deeper strikes. Reports say Iran has signed contracts worth $2.7 billion to supply Moscow with hundreds of missiles and air-defense systems, alongside Shahed kamikaze drones now widely used in attacks on Ukraine.
