Russia seems to be thinking about a major change in its military service rule. The Vladimir Putin administration might alter its military age norm. Chairman of the Russian Parliament's Defence Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, said that the age range may be changed from 18–27 years to 21–30 years. This would mean that more Russians will be eligible to be called up for military service as Moscow faces some shortages due to casualties on Ukraine's battlefields. Watch this report to understand its impact on the ongoing war.
