Serbia issued a stern warning to Ukraine over the prospect of recognising Kosovo. A Ukrainian MP had signed an appeal for policy review towards Belgrade and Pristina. The appeal, in a signed letter, was made to the Governments of Western States. Serbian President Aleksander Vucic described the letter as a move against Serbia.
