'Taliban men put foot on my head...': Afghan journalists allege assault

Two Afghan journalists were beaten up allegedly by the Taliban for covering the protests led by women. The two journalists who work with a newspaper called Etilaatroz were reportedly abducted and then beaten up in police custody allegedly by the Taliban. US-based LA Times too claimed that 3 of its journalists were stopped from photographing women protesters and were forced to leave the area. Several other journalists including a Tolo News cameraperson were reportedly arrested by the Taliban. This came weeks after the Taliban promised Press Freedom in its first press conference after taking over Afghanistan. Watch the full video for more details.
